Provisioning for your recipes

Work backward from meals you want to cook to a pantry list that accounts for what you already own.

A reviewed ingredient list with quantities to replenish and a separate list of items outside the catalog.

What this involves

  1. Choose recipes and serving counts, including any planned leftovers.
  2. Combine shared ingredients, check the quantities already available, and review unit conversions.
  3. Confirm the remaining amounts and any substitutions before adding available pantry foods to an order.

Before you start

Bring your recipes and a recent view of your shelves. Confirm the ingredient forms a recipe needs: cooked and dry weights, for example, are not interchangeable.

Recipes do not currently import into a cart or subtract inventory automatically. Fresh foods and other ingredients outside our catalog would still need a separate plan.

Available today

You can manually choose ingredients and weights in the Food catalog. Recipe-to-cart planning is being developed as a service concept.
